According to Reuters, the quarterly sales of Sea Ltd, released on Tuesday, exceeded market expectations, thanks mainly to the strong demand for a flag-based electrician platform, Shopee, and game operations, which pushed the company ‘ s share price on the United States market to rise by almost 19 per cent in its early-drip deal.

Shapee, as a popular electrician platform in South-East Asia and Taiwan, is experiencing strong consumer demand, thanks to corporate efforts to provide competitive prices and improve customer experience. Hopee has been working to improve user access, traffic and participation in its Shopee application, including by introducing social functions such as live and small games with convertible coins and prizes.

In April-June, revenues from the Winter Sea Group Electric Operator ‘ s Operations Section surged by 33.7 per cent to $3.8 billion in the quarter. Total Platform transactions (GMV) increased by 28 per cent to $29.8 billion. At the press conference, executives stated that Hope’s annual GMV growth was better than the 20 per cent increase previously expected by the company.

The Winter Sea Group CEO Lee Xiaowin said: “All three of our operations have experienced strong and healthy growth, which gives us greater confidence that we will be able to do better this year. Our companies have reached a stage where they can pursue growth opportunities while improving profitability.”

At the same time, the Winter Sea Group digital entertainment business sector grew by 28.4 per cent to $559.1 million. This sector includes online game developers and distributor Garena, who is well known for his hot-shot tour of Free Fire.

Garena reported that, in the quarter of June, the number of its paying users jumped by 17.8 per cent, with a 23 per cent increase in the target amount. According to Xiaowin Lee, Garena’s target for this year is now expected to grow by over 30 per cent.

The Winter Sea Group digital financial products business sector (with SeaMoney applications under the flag that provide services such as payment processing and credit products) reported a 70 per cent increase in revenue to $882.8 million.

The Singapore-based Winter Sea Group reported an increase of 38.2 per cent in its total income in the second quarter, to $5.26 billion, which exceeded the $4.98 billion expected from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) compilation data.
